Advectis Wins Prestigious TAMY Technology Marketing Award
Award recognizes Advectis for repositioning efforts

ATLANTA, May 9, 2005 – Advectis Inc., provider of the most widely
used solution for electronic mortgage document collaboration, has
been selected as a winner of a 2005 TAMY Award from the Technology
Marketing Association (TMA), a society of the Technology Association
of Georgia (TAG) at the 4th Annual Technology Marketing Association
Awards ceremony. The TAMY Awards are given annually to recognize both
the emerging and large companies that demonstrate excellence in creating
and executing technology-marketing programs.
Advectis received the Corporate Repositioning
Award for companies that have reinvented themselves in the marketplace,
either by repositioning themselves in their category or expanding
into new categories.
“We are honored to be selected,” said Greg Smith, president
and CEO of Advectis. “The mortgage industry is starting to rapidly
adopt electronic solutions to replace the
paper-based processes that saturate the industry. Having strong positioning
that resonates with
the industry has been critical to not only
continue our sales momentum, but to establish ourselves as the leader
in the market.”
In 2004, Advectis expanded its flagship product line, BlitzDocs Enterprise,
and repositioned the company’s marketing branding and messaging to focus
on the unique collaborative nature of the application with the “Powering
Collaboration for Mortgage Documents” tagline. The repositioned corporate
message introduced all participants in the mortgage process to the strong collaborative
capabilities of BlitzDocs Enterprise. These include workflow, loan folder sharing
(eShip) and investor delivery (BlitzDocs Connector), to name a few. Customers
have embraced this approach, since it has allowed them to improve their current
business processes while incorporating a paperless solution that removed friction
from their current processes.
The annual TAMY awards showcase the outstanding
accomplishments in marketing at emerging
and established technology firms in Georgia. Other 2005 winners included
BellSouth, Flo Healthcare,
Intellinet, and Leica Geosystems.
