Advectis Adds BlitzDocs® Web Services Developer’s Guide
Simplified integration to third-party systems increases attractiveness of collaborative platform
SAN FRANCISCO, May 2, 2005 – Advectis, Inc., provider of the
most widely used solution for electronic mortgage document collaboration,
announced here at the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Secondary
Markets Conference the addition of BlitzDocs Web Services Developer’s
Guide. The developer’s guide provides lenders, investors, quality
control (QC) firms, due diligence providers, loan origination software
(LOS) vendors and other third-party providers with an interface to
the BlitzDocs platform.
The Web services guide facilitates tight integration of mortgage loan data and
associated documents by providing application-to-BlitzDocs communication.
As a result, lenders can achieve greater efficiencies with more streamlined
loan processing capabilities.
“The developer’s guide provides a documented roadmap for
the existing BlitzDocs Web Services,” said Judson Phillips,
director of product marketing of Advectis.” Customers and provider
partners can use the guide to create dynamic
real-time integrations from third party systems into the BlitzDocs
collaborative platform.
For example, an underwriter operating within
an LOS can click a button and be presented with the document images
from BlitzDocs, creating
a seamless interface between loan data
and image. Documents, such as the credit report, can be inserted automatically
into the BlitzDocs
e-folder, reducing steps in the process.”
The benefits of the Web services integration capability include:
- Integration of potential disparate systems, via an industry standard interface
- Access to data and service API’s in the BlitzDocs platform
- The ability to link a lender’s LOS system with documents captured in BlitzDocs
- Flexibility regarding where and how data is presented and used
- The ability to build solutions that leverage internal data and systems
Using a secure SOAP based Web Services API, the programmatic interface
is part of the BlitzDocs Service Oriented
Architecture (SOA) that allows constituents to share data or
software capabilities over the Internet. Based on industry standard technologies,
such as, XML, SOAP, HTML and http/https,
the BlitzDocs Web service
interface has allowed firms, such as Genworth,
Filogix, AIG United Guaranty, Franklin American Mortgage Company,
Dexma, Allied Home Mortgage
and No Red Tape Mortgage to leverage existing
data and systems while delivering powerful integration solutions for
their organizations.
Filogix, a leading provider of business
solutions to Canada 's real estate and mortgage-related industries
has used Web Services API to
integrate its LOS and point of sale (POS)
solutions with the BlitzDocs application. “From within our LOS and
POS applications we are now able to automatically create loan folders,
view loan documents, and dynamically create fax coversheets,” said
John Heineman, Filogix product manager. “This level of integration
has tremendous benefits for our LOS/POS users. LOS users can navigate
to a loan and with one mouse click, link to and view a document within
BlitzDocs.”
