Advectis Announces Addition of eShip Capabilities to BlitzDocs®
Solution Suite
Application enables bi-directional electronic delivery of documents
between BlitzDocs Customers
ATLANTA, Oct. 21, 2004 - Advectis, Inc., provider of
the most widely-used solution for electronic mortgage document collaboration,
announced the addition of “eShip” capabilities to its BlitzDocs
suite of solutions. BlitzDoc’s eShip allows BlitzDocs customers to:
transfer electronic loan folders containing imaged loan documents from
one BlitzDocs customer to another, and electronically notify the receiving
company of an incoming transfer. Once the transfer is approved by the receiving
BlitzDocs customer, BlitzDoc’s eShip then maps the document names
and stacking orders used by the “sending” customer to those
used by the “receiving” customer. If either party adds any
new documents into their respective loan folders, then those documents
can be “auto-synchronized” and added into the folders of another
BlitzDocs customer.
“
We have been a BlitzDocs customer for two years,” said Ron Litt,
Executive Vice President of Allied Home Mortgage Capital. “And now,
with the functionality provided by eShip, we find that we are directing
more of our loans to those lenders like Chase and HSBC who also utilize
BlitzDocs technology. Because eShip simplifies the submission of electronic
loan folders and facilitates collaboration during the origination process,
we can process and manage loans documents more efficiently.”
“
BlitzDocs technology is the most widely-used collaborative
mortgage document platform from origination through post-closing in the
mortgage industry,” said Greg Smith, president and CEO of Advectis. “Advectis
wants to ensure that all the needs and preferences of the mortgage industry
are met by providing the most efficient and cost-effective technologies.
Electronic shipment capabilities are an integral part of the electronic
loan process because real-time transfer of loan folders allows each participant
immediate access.”
The BlitzDocs’ collaborative document platform was developed to give
all professionals in the mortgage industry the ability to capture, submit,
organize, underwrite, audit, share and archive loan documents electronically.
The mortgage process is simplified through the shared use and simultaneous access
to a centralized mortgage file, thereby reducing costs while shortening turnaround
time and increasing efficiency. Using a fax machine or scanner and a Web browser,
brokers, lenders, investors, auditors and other authorized parties can use the
BlitzDocs solution in real time.
“When we decided to enhance the BlitzDocs solution
with eShip, our goal was to make is easier for brokers, loan officers, lenders and
other parties to collaborate on a loan to complete the task,” Smith said. “Based on
the tremendous feedback we have received from our first customers using eShip, we
are confident this new feature will be well received in the mortgage industry.”
